The UK school system doesn't really teach personal finance. Financial literacy was added to the curriculum in 2014, tucked away inside Citizenship lessons, not given its own space. According to the Money and Pensions Service, only 1 in 5 children in the UK receive a meaningful financial education. People aren't bad with money because they're careless. They're bad with money because nobody ever taught them.
Proper Money is that same instinct applied to money. Anyone can be better with their finances. You can start investing with as little as £1. Not because £1 will change your life, but because starting small is how you understand the concept, see how easy it actually is, and get over the stigma that it's somehow reserved for the wealthy. It isn't. My job is just to show you how.
